Macmillan Cancer Support Centre: The Mustard Tree  - They offer a comfortable environment for patients, relatives and carers to share concerns, ask questions and access a range of support.

• Teenage Cancer Trust | UK Cancer Charity: provides information about cancer, events and activities you can get involved with.

• Move Against Cancer: supporting you to move /exercise.

• Willow Foundation: Special Days are bespoke experiences booked throughout the UK and they come in three different varieties:

  1. Days Out - These are fun-packed day trips designed around your interests. Examples include a trip to a theme park, tickets to a sporting event, a day at the zoo and many more besides.

  2. Breaks - This could be a short stay at a hotel or a longer break in self-catering accommodation – such as a holiday park or cottage.

  3. At home - We also arrange experiences at home which could be an option for those who are less mobile or who find it hard to leave home. Your Special Day at home could be a party for you and your loved ones, a very special photoshoot to capture a precious family moment, a pamper day or a film party!

• Teens Unite | Teen Cancer Support: peer support groups and activities, online and face to face

• Ben Saunders Foundation: a holiday retreat in the Cotswolds.

• Flynnes Barn: you can come together to find friends who are living through similar experiences and enjoy a variety of creative and outward-bound activities.

• Youth Cancer Trust: Free wellbeing holidays (young person plus a friend/sibling/partner) and online support. 

• Blood Cancer UK | We're here to beat blood cancer  Support for anyone worried about blood cancer with expert information and advice.

• The Brain Tumour Charity: A charity offering a wide range of inclusive and accessible services for everyone affected by a brain tumour. They have a Young Adults Service for anyone aged 16-30 with a brain tumour diagnosis, which helps to connect you with others and supports you with any information you might need.

• Sarcoma UK
  A charity offering a range of support and information about sarcoma cancers. They have a Sarcoma UK Support Line that you can call or email, a list of local sarcoma support groups you can attend and a range of up-to-date information guides about sarcoma that you can view on their website.

Clinical Oncology Unit - Brent Ward on the 8th floor of Derriford Hospital has 28 inpatient beds, which include 7 side rooms. This unit caters for patients with solid malignant tumours.

Clinical Haematology Unit - Bracken Ward on the 8th floor of Derriford Hospital has 22 inpatient beds, 10 of which are private rooms, these rooms include en- suite facilities, smart TV’s, X-box Kinect. It also has a breakout room for patients and visitors. This unit caters for patients with diseases of the blood, both malignant and non malignant.

Hot and cold snacks, cakes, pastries and beverages, to eat in or take away.
